A MADALA, who identified himself only as Shabangu, said his life has been tough.

Community members tried to get involved and help him with decent housing but failed.

The 74-year-old lives in a makeshift and dilapidated house in Kanana Park near Lenasia, south of Joburg, that has cracks, and it can fall at any time.
