“We looked at filed cases of missing persons and we could not find any case that relates to the boy. We are not certain whether he was not reported missing or whether the case could have been reported at another police station outside of Tembisa. Unfortunately, we do not have any other details to help us locate the family of the child except what we have already mentioned. We are pleading with community members to assist in finding the boy’s family. We also plead with parents who have lost a child, even if they are not from Tembisa, to please contact us,” she said.

Olifantsfontein police said they have and are still waiting for calls from anyone who might have necessary information.
