LONDI Thabethe, who was dosed with acid, is appealing for donations for her to do plastic surgery.
The now 19-year-old teenager from Stanger, KZN, who had to drop out of matric following her tragic incident, needs R97 000 for the surgery.
In February 2023, Daily Sun ran a story after Londi was dosed with acid by two girls who were accusing her of bad-mouthing them.
They were allegedly instructed to dose Londi with acid by their mother.
The mother and the two girls were arrested and released on R1 500 bail each.
Londi said since she was burnt with acid, her life has been on hold.
She couldn't even go to school as she was in matric.

"I was in hospital most of the time. It’s been a very tough phase in my life. But with the support from the mother, family members and neighbors I'm now coping."
Londi said her wish is to go back to school and finish matric.
"In order for me to do the plastic surgery I need about R97k. This will cover the entire operation. I will be able to do it at a private hospital in Durban," she said.
Her mother, Jabu Thabethe (35), said it's been hard, but she is grateful for the support they get from everybody.
"Some people still look at her like she's an animal. But most people give her love and support. For me seeing my daughter like this hurts because I never thought this would happen to her. But I'm happy to know that after the surgery she will be okay," she said.
She is also appealing for donations so that her daughter can return to school and finish her matric.
