“We have nothing against the President, we just want him to resign, he has failed us!”

These were the words expressed by several members of the Economic Freedom Fighters on Monday,20 March, as they gathered at their final protest destination, Eskom Megawatt Park in Sunninghill, Gauteng.

This was after they embarked on their planned national shutdown protest over social issues within the country, not limited to load shedding.

They also demanded the resignation of President Cyril Ramaphosa.
