THE family of murdered Confidence Mthise walked out of the Acornhoek Magistrates Court in Mpumalanga unhappy on Wednesday, 12 October.

This after they waited long to see the prophet who allegedly killed their daughter.

The prophet (30), who was a no-show, is accused of killing his wife Confidence (28) in Buffelshoek outside Acornhoek, Mpumalanga on Tuesday, 11 October.

The prophet’s sister (27) was greeted by Confidence’s naked body lying in a pool of blood in the house, but her brother was nowhere to be found.

But police found him hiding in Lillydale Village outside Mkhuhlu after they received a tip-off from residents, who saw fresh blood stains on his clothes. Confidence’s relative want to see justice take its course without fear or favour.

“Police told us he couldn’t make it to court as he’s making a confession statement. So they will bring him to court tomorrow, and we will be here to oppose bail,” said Confidence’s relative.
