THE administration clerk who was thrown out of a moving car has died in hospital.
A third suspect has been arrested and will join his co-accused. KwaMbonambi Police Station senior administrator Mpendulo Mdluli (31) died on Sunday, 6 August, a few days after his friend Warrant Officer Nkosinathi Ntinga was shot dead.
The suspects robbed the cops of their guns before forcing them into a car on Tuesday, 1 August.
They drove away and allegedly pushed Mdluli out of the moving car a few kilometres from Ntinga's homestead.
With multiple gunshot wounds, Warrant Officer Ntinga was later found dead in the Mfolozi area near Msunduzi River. Mdluli's car was found abandoned in the sugar cane fields.
When he was found, he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Ntinga's wife, Sergeant Ntombizodwa Ntinga, was arrested with Samkelo Mpanza (33), who is believed to be an inkabi that she allegedly hired to kill her husband.
The two were arrested on Wednesday, 2 August. The third suspect was arrested on Saturday, 5 August.
