TODAY, 12 April, marks day two of the murder trial of Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa in the North Gauteng High Court in Tshwane.
And Kelly Khumalo’s lawyer, Magdalene Moonsamy, said her client has been co-operating with the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA).
She said Kelly was positive about the trial.
She said she has been looking forward to it and is anticipating closure.
On the other hand, Senzo’s sister, Nomalanga, said they are looking forward to the trial so they can really know what happened that fateful night eight years ago.
She said she hoped they will find closure not just for them, but for Senzo’s children as well.
Speaking about the Senzo’s documentary currently playing on Netflix, she said it has shed light to more information they were not aware of and they hope the information will be used by the court.
Meyiwa was shot dead inside the family home of his girlfriend Kelly Khumalo in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni, on 26 October 2014.
