MPUMALANGA police have launched a manhunt for two suspects who allegedly robbed two international tourists travelling to the Kruger National Park on Wednesday, 6 September.
The American couple, aged 47 and 39, were driving a Nissan Magnite on the R536 road about 10 kilometres to Kruger Gate when an unknown vehicle with two armed suspects stopped them.
Police spokesman, Colonel Donald Mdluli, said the suspects were driving a car with blue lights and had signalled to the couple to stop their car.
The two were then held at gunpoint by their assailants driven to a certain spot where they were robbed of their items.

"They were then left by the suspects who fled with the stolen items, using both cars, the victims and the suspect's car.
The two victims were not harmed during the incident and were assisted and taken to a nearby police station where the case was opened," he said.
Mdluli said no one has been arrested, and police are calling for anyone with information to assist.
Police are investigating a count of robbery with hijacking.
