THE 10 people who died in a horrific accident outside Polokwane, Limpopo on Tuesday, 6 September have been laid to rest.

Limpopo Transport and Community Safety MEC Polly Boshielo joined mourners at the mass funeral service held at Tshixwadza Sport Grounds on Saturday, 10 September. Boshielo refuted a media statement issued by her communications unit that the accident was caused by fatigue and possible reckless driving.

“I want to put it on the record that investigations to find out what caused the accident are still ongoing,” she said.

The 10 people who died included members of the Nwedamutswu royal family, relative and friends.
