A MOTHER in Thabong in Welkom, Free State, is frantically looking for her missing 14-year-old daughter.

Masabata Ramathebane says she left home for school to fetch her daughter’s report on Tuesday, 13 December.

Her two children, Thandolwethu and Buhlebenkosi Ramathebane, were asleep when she left. And when she came back, Buhlebenkosi was not at home – and no one is aware of her whereabouts.

Masabata then searched for her daughter at the homes of her friends and relatives, but did not find her.

Captain Steven Thakeng said the incident was reported at Thabong Police Station, and a missing person’s case was registered for investigation.

“Anyone with information leading to tracing the missing child can contact Detective Warrant Officer Bertus Olivier on 082 885 5271 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111,” he said.
