POLICE need help in finding a man who pretended to be a school pupil and raped girls.
The suspect apparently wears school jerseys to gain access to schools in Vanderbijlpark, Vaal, and targets girls in the toilets.
Sergeant Gertrude Makhale said the Sedibeng sexual offences unit was investigating a rape case and urgently needed help tracking down the perpetrator.
The man, believed to be aged between 28 and 30, raped a 15-year-old schoolgirl. He was wearing a school jacket but looked too old to be a pupil.
The incident happened on 29 July this year.
“The girl was relieving herself when the suspect entered the toilet and threatened her before raping her,” she said.

Makhale said the victim screamed for help but no one came to help her. While she was being raped, she realised the man was wearing the jersey of another school under his jacket.
“This is the second incident reported to the Vanderbijlpark police involving a pupil who was raped in the school toilets.”
Anyone who might be able to identify the suspect on the identikit is asked to contact Constable Masemola on 016 450 2624 or 071 675 6272.
