GOGO Johanna Makofane says she is stressed because her sister betrayed her.
She told Daily Sun her sister sold the RDP house she lived in behind her back.
The 69-year-old from extension 18 in Mamelodi, Tshwane, said even since the house was sold, bad things had been happening to her.
She said in October, thugs killed five of her six chickens. In June, there was a break-in and her daughter’s cellphone and other valuable were stolen.
Johanna said the trouble started after she had a fight with her sister, Elizabeth Makwakwa (58), over the house.
“We made a verbal agreement in 2003 that I would get the RDP. This was before we got the house in 2012,” she said.
Johanna said Elizabeth told her she didn’t want the house as it was in a muddy area.
Johanna said she learnt the house had been sold when she got a call in October 2020 from a stranger telling them to vacate it.

Ward Councillor Ananias Mogalusi said: “The problem is that the sister has the title deed and is the lawful owner of the house.”
Elizabeth told Daily Sun: “I never gave my sister my house. I am the rightful owner and I sold it legally. I’m not going to comment any further.”
City of Tshwane spokesman Lindela Mashigo said the municipality couldn’t get involved as it was a private matter.
