GAUTENG Premier Panyaza Lesufi has reacted with strong words to the body shaming of newly recruited crime fighter Tseko Mahlatsi.
While many congratulated Tseko for being part of the crime wardens, others criticised his body, which caught the attention of Lesufi.
Tseko from Boipatong in the Vaal, a former community radio news presenter, pastor and ex-patroller in Boipatong, was discriminated against during the province's pass out parade on Sunday, 30 April at Giant Stadium in Soshanguve, Tshwane

But that did not sit well with Lesufi, who took to social media after Tseko's images went viral on Monday morning, 1 May.
The premier wrote: “Body discrimination is as dangerous as racism and sexism.”
Lesufi said you know that one could be somewhere or somehow and still be able to work. He said he took steps to request for the training for Tseko because he had been a volunteer in crime fighting for many years in his community.
Tseko told Daily Sun he was overwhelmed by the support he received after his pictures went viral on social media.
