POLICE in Gauteng have arrested two suspects linked to the murder and robbery of a medical doctor, Dr Michael "Dr Mike" Isabelle, at his surgery in Dobsonville, Soweto on 26 February.
Police spokeswoman Brigadier Brenda Muridili said Gauteng’s Serious and Violent Crimes’ Murder and Robbery unit investigators arrested the suspects on Thursday, 21 March.
“Three suspects entered the surgery at about 3pm, claiming that one of them was not feeling well. As soon as all of them went into the consulting room, witnesses heard gunshots, and the three fled the scene in a vehicle they stole from the scene.
“The doctor was rushed to a local clinic with gunshot wounds. He died at the clinic,” Muridili said.
She said investigations were conducted and evidence collected for further analysis.
