Mpho Masigo (24) told Daily Sun she had been battling with unemployment for quite a while. “I am very excited and grateful to Gauteng Premier Lesufi Panyaza for this opportunity,” she said.
Addressing the crowd, Lesufi said they have no time to play in Gauteng. “From the 1st of August and the 1st of September some of you will start at your new jobs,” he said.
He added that he didn’t want to give out appointment letters in offices as some people would take the letters and give them to their friends and not the person meant to receive the letter.
“While you are still training, we will give you R7 000 of your salary,” he said.
