COPS are looking for a suspect believed to have been involved in the gang rape of a woman on 1 July.
The Krugersdorp police’s family violence, child protection and sexual offences unit has released an identikit of the suspect.
The victim (31) was walking towards the taxi rank along Von Brandis Street in Krugersdorp when she was accosted by three suspects and one of them, who was speaking Sotho, grabbed her by her jersey and took her to the bushes where she was gang raped without condoms.
She later reported the matter to the police and was able to identify one of the suspects through an identification kit.
The suspect is said to be a Sotho-speaking man, between 30 and 40 years old, 1,65m, medium build and coffee colour in complexion. He was wearing black trousers, a blue reflector and black bennie.
