FORMER Ukhozi FM presenter Ngizwe Mchunu has opened a case of assault against the men who allegedly attacked him.

The alleged attack happened while Ngizwe was briefing the media in Durban, KZN on Tuesday, 23 January.

The briefing was supposed to take place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium but moved to a different location.

In a one-minute-long video that has gone viral on social media, a group of men are seen vandalising the equipment as Ngizwe was about to address the journalists and his followers online.

As the men threw chairs, tables, and cameras away, Ngizwe was seated.
