FORMER SABC chief operating officer and leader of African Content Movement (ACM), Hlaudi Motsoeneng, welcomes 100 angry ANC members.
The former ANC members were welcomed at Mafube Intermediate School in Phuthaditjhaba, Free State on Saturday, 22 July.
The new members include prominent former Maluti-a-Phofung Municipality finance MEC Mandla Tshabalala and former APC provincial member, Ntaoleng Monkwe.
In his welcome address, Hlaudi said the parties that fought for liberation are now an Old Testament and the people need a new party that will make a difference.

"ANC, AZAPO, PAC are an Old Testament. They had a common vision to defeat the apartheid system. Therefore, they have reached equilibrium. Now they are fighting among themselves for positions and not performing. They do not know how to govern," said Motsoeneng.
He accused the ANC government of pursuing policies he called illiterate because they exclude middle-aged people from jobs and focus only on the youth.
"People between 36 and 59 can work for their families. This is pure discrimination. ANC government must stop hiding behind the future and excluding people. ANC only uses middle-aged people during elections.
"I am the only person who can liberate South Africa from poverty, unemployment, crime and essential services. ANC has failed for 30 years," Motsoeneng said.
Tshabalala said he joined ACM because he wants to see his contributions add value to social life. However, he confirmed that he was not expelled from the ANC.
"I voluntarily joined the party of Hlaudi Motsoeneng. I believe that my contributions, however small, could add value to the party. I saw his courage at the SABC where he brought about changes," Tshabalala said.
Monkwe said he decided to leave Thamba Godi's party because it focused only on Mpumalanga and Limpopo.
ANC provincial spokesman Jabu Mbalula could not be reached for comment.
