THE corruption, theft and money laundering trial of former KZN economic development and tourism MEC Mike Mabuyakhulu and others was postponed.
The case against Mabuyakhulu and his co-accused was scheduled to resume in the Durban High Court on Tuesday, 11 April.
However, it lasted only a few minutes and was adjourned until Wednesday, 12 April, because one of the accused did not appear in court as he wasn't feeling well.

The former MEC is out on R5 000 bail.
Mabuyakhulu, along with 15 other individuals and companies, faces charges of corruption relating to the North Sea Jazz Festival in 2012.
The festival did not take place, but the money was allegedly paid to the service providers.
Mabuyakhulu was the MEC for Economic Development and Tourism in KZN at the time.
Earlier in 2022, the Pietermaritzburg High Court dismissed an application by Mabuyakhulu and his co-accused in relation to the criminal case.
The application alleged unreasonable delays, but the court found in favour of the state, stating that the delays were justified.
Mabuyakhulu handed himself over to the police in 2018 after it emerged that he, too, was linked to the corruption, theft and money laundering scandal.
