FORMER IEC vice-chairman and founder of Election Management Service in Africa (IEMSA), Terry Tselane, is mourning the death of his younger brother, Herman Tselane.

Herman (57) was allegedly killed during a car hijacking in Brits. His body was found on the side of the road in Mabopane on Sunday, 19 March.

The thugs managed to escape with his car, but it was later recovered in Soshanguve by a tracking company.

Terry told Daily Sun that he is hurt that his younger brother was brutally murdered in an alleged car hijacking.

“My brother is no more and this is painful because he died in an alleged car hijacking, and his body was dumped on the side of the road.

“His car was later recovered by tracking company, but his life will never be restored because of these thugs,” said Terry.

He said his brother was a good person and had no enemies.

“Right now, we are having a meeting with the family finalise funeral arrangements. We are thinking of laying him to rest this coming weekend,” said Terry.
