RAYMOND Moela has been left homeless by a fire.
The 44-year-old from Lethabong in Mamelodi, Tshwane, said his three-roomed shack went up in flames on Saturday, 15 April.
He said when he was coming back from a tavern earlier that night, he saw a man urinating and shining a cellphone torch at his shack.
"It was about 9pm and the man told me that real man don't sleep so early. I didn't take it seriously, but after the fire burnt my shack, I started thinking that maybe he might be the suspect,” he said.
Raymond said he doesn't know the man and thought he was just relieving himself outside his home.

"I went into my shack and ate. I tried to sleep, but struggled and went to another nearby tavern to chill. Within 30 minutes a neighbour came running to the tavern and told me that my shack was on fire," he said.
"The fire was too big and I lost everything in my shack. My clothes, furniture, documents and food. I suspect that a jealous person did this evil thing to me. My neighbours told me they heard a loud sound coming from my shack."
Raymond, who is originally from Tzaneen in Limpopo, asked for donations as he was left with nothing
"I will never forgive the person who did this to me. I will struggle to deal with the trauma of losing my home," he said.
Neighbour Raymond Khoza (44) said the fire might have been caused by jealous people.
"I was asleep when the fire started. I tried to put it out, but it didn't work because the fire was too big," he said.
He appealed for help for his neighbour.
Tshwane Emergency Services spokesman, deputy chief Charles Mabaso, said firefighters found one informal dwelling almost completely burnt down.
"They managed to extinguish the fire. No one was injured and the cause of the fire is still undetermined," said Mabaso.
