A SHACK with seven rooms was destroyed by fire, leaving the family with nothing.
The family of seven was left homeless at Phomolong in Atteridgeville, Tshwane on Tuesday, 29 August.
Neighbours told Daily Sun that they saw big flames coming from the garage and when they ran to the shack to check, it was already on fire.
Surprise Thobela (21) said the family lost everything in the fire and they are asking for any help they can get.
"There was load shedding and when the power came back, the fire broke out. We were lucky that my three family members who were asleep came out and ran for their lives and nobody was hurt," he said.
