LEGENDARY house producer, DJ and actor Miza is the kind of guy you’d love hanging out with on your couch.
His chilled vibe and passion for music would have you talking for hours on end.
But this guy is so busy churning out incredible music that we were grateful for the couple of minutes he spent with us for our very first Famous Friday interview.
Miza celebrated the occasion by letting us in on some exciting news.
“I just dropped a brand new single, a banger titled Live Your Life featuring a lady from the States called Mia Simmone.
“The idea for this is to introduce new music from my upcoming album,” he said.
Miza explained that he initially thought of dropping an EP, but the beat kept on playing up until he thought of dropping an album.
“As I was working on the EP, I just thought of dropping an album.
“So, Live Your Life is the first single. Next month, I’ll drop another single before I release the album before the end of the year.’
Miza also shared that he’s worked with this year’s three-time South African Music Award winner, Chymamusique.“It’s funny because we recorded this song four months ago, and w We’ve been wanting to work together, and even in the SAMA’s Best Dance category that he won, we were nominated together.”
When we asked Miza about the best-ever produced record in the world, he said it’s his song Wonder Love featuring DJ Fresh.
“I feel like it’s such a dope song which people will only wake up to later,” he said. . The same thing that happened to Summer Days.”
When asked about his celebrity crush, Miza also shared that he has been married to his celebrity crush for five years – the stunning Fulu Mugovhani.

We were also curious to know something about Miza that fans wouldn’t know and he laughed and said: “So I’m a lover of amapiano music. I actually love every genre of music and I barely listen to house music during the week.” I listen to everything from reggae to acid lounge to RnB.”
Finally, when asked about his three dream collaborations globally, Miza shared that he would love to work with Kanye West, Pharrell Williams and Kaytranada.
“I love Kaytranada and think they are super talented.I chose the three because they cover a wide range of musical genres,” he said.
