Mzansi power couple Shona and Connie Ferguson are couple goals in every aspect and Somizi has paid tribute to them.
The pair who have been together for over two decades continue to carve their own path in the entertainment industry and break boundaries.
Somizi, who has also done very well for himself in the entertainment industry, lauded the “Inspirational” Fergusons on social media.
“Connie and Shona Ferguson, you guys inspire me so much,” Somizi said in a video he shared on Instagram.
“It’s amazing that you inspire a whole lot of people but even more amazing, you inspire the already inspired because I’m really inspired. I wake up in the morning and I inspire myself but I look at people like you and I go ‘yes’, ‘yes’, it’s limitless.”
Somizi gave credit to the couple for “breaking the mould” in the entertainment scene.
“You have done things that we never thought would be done. And I grew up in television where it was run by a certain group of people and you guys came in,” he added.
The couple have a media company together, Ferguson Films which is behind a lot of popular local telenovelas such as The Queen, The River and more recently The Throne.
Through this company, they have also given a platform to a lot of young talent such as Kamo Modisakeng, Motsoaledi Setumo, and Moshe Ndiki among many others.
