DJ QNESS is giving away four bursaries to those who want to pursue acting, DJing, music production or a career in the music industry.
Those who wish to enter have to tweet the DJ explaining why they deserve the bursary.
The recipients will be part of the DJ Qness Master Class at the Urban Brew Studios in Joburg.
Qness, real name Qhubani Ndlovu, said he wanted to empower talented people. He said the bursary was a way to kick-start a year-long programme.
“I have received a lot of inboxes on social media from people who want to start their career in the entertainment industry and some of them are very talented.
“I am not looking for people who have certain qualifications because some were not fortunate enough to further their studies,” he said.
He said applications are open and there is no age restriction.
“We will go into detail on how to get into the industry and how to tackle challenges.”
