MZANSI legends will come together on stage and perform for one night only at the Gold Reef City’s Lyric Theatre on Saturday 28 March.
Yvonne Chaka Chaka and Radio 702 have released the full list of acts that will be performing at her 50th birthday bash.
The Princess of Africa will also celebrate her 30th anniversary in the music industry and her 10th year as a Unicef Ambassador.
Yvonne decided to include artists who were around when she started her career, and those she came along while her career was on the rise.
The top-heavy line up includes Marc Alex, Phumi (Cheek to Cheek), Ihashi Elimhlophe and Linah Khama (Ebony), Tshidi Moholo of Malaika, PJ Powers, Tracy-Lee Olivier and many more.
Mzansi comedians Joey Rasdien – as well as host of Emmy-nominated Late Night News Loyiso Gola will co-host the big event.
Popular 90s artist Marc Rantseli, who performed with his brother Alex, had a huge hit with their song Quick Quick, which was taken
off the album Boys B Boys, a follow-up to their 1988 debut album.
Yvonne could not leave out Phumi of Cheek to Cheek who rose to fame in 2002 and brought fans hits like Chiskop Tamatie, Dinaka Le Meropa.
Ihashi and his wife Linah – better known as Ebony – will also be gracing the stage.
Ebony last released a solo project in 1998. She has been working as a backing vocalist and a manager for her husband’s band.
