Idols SA runner-up, Mthokozisi Ndaba has been accused of assaulting a young woman who has spoken to the media about her abuse.
According to the young woman, Mothokozisi moered her on Saturday morning in a flat in Jozi.
She spoke to the Sunday Times, and the police have confirmed that a case of assault has been opened against the singer.
The woman’s friends also shared pictures of the young woman with bruises and a chipped tooth on social media.
Mthokozisi has allegedly been avoiding all communication from Mzansi Magic.
"Mzansi Magic and Idols SA are aware of social media posts of an alleged incident that took place on November 24. We have, however, been unable to make contact with Mthokozisi Ndaba. Mzansi Magic and Idols SA condemn any act of abuse,” the head of PR at M-Net, Nondumiso Mabece told TshisaLive.
