Media personality Nomzamo Mbatha has silenced her critics with a second Cosmopolitan SA magazine cover.

The first cover got tongues wagging on social media with many not convinced that the media darling was the right person for the first ever Cosmopolitan activism issue cover for the month of August, women’s month.

While she has done some charity work in foreign countries as an Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), some perceive her as merely a pretty face that gets paid to make appearances at charity events.

The star lashed out at the claims, insisting she is not “just a pretty face in the public eye that stands for nothing.”

Some of Mzansi’s celebrities, such as Anele Mdoda and Criselda Kananda- Dudumashe got behind Mbatha amid the backlash.
