According to Twitter, the real reason Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi came to Mzansi was to see our favourite queen of the dance floor Zodwa Wabantu.

This joke was started by a fake Messi account which tweeted “IZODWA YABANTU AM COMING #automatically on my way.”

This was not helped by Zodwa’s boss DJ Tira who also jokingly tweeted that Messi was asking for Zodwa’s numbers.
