Popular radio host Masechaba Ndlovu has called time on her marriage.
The Metro FM DJ has described her decision to split from her husband Vusi as a “very painful” one.
She took to social media on Wednesday to announce her decision through a lengthy post.
“I’ve taken the very painful decision of separating from my husband, the love of my life, the man of my dreams, my ride or die,” she wrote on Instagram.
“Sometimes in life, the best thing you can do is the hardest thing you’ve ever done.”
She added that despite the separation, they would maintain a friendship that would allow them to be the best parents to their children.
Masechaba made headlines a few weeks ago when she found herself caught in the middle of Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha’s alleged abuse saga.
The Drive host was heavily criticized for the manner in which she revealed, on Babes’ behalf, that Mampintsha has allegedly been abusing her.
Masechaba’s decision could be seen as her practising what she preaches to young women and she continued to share words of advice to those in a situation similar to hers.
“I’ve always preached to young women that self-love is the highest form of love,” she added.
“The only people who will be mad at you for speaking the truth, are people who are living a lie. Do what you feel in your heart to be right.
“You deserve to be happy. You deserve to live a life you are excited about. You deserve to be loved and you deserve to feel appreciated,” she concluded her post.
