The past couple of days have been tense for the Mpisane family as they could do nothing but wait on any news regarding their daughter Sbahle’s condition.

However, it seems that the worst has passed and they can finally breathe easy as Sbahle is well on her way to recovery.

The fitness bunny was involved in a horror crash that left her in a critical condition in hospital.

She lost control of her car which then hit a pole and overturned before catching fire.

Her family asked the nation to pray for their daughter’s recovery and after almost a month in hospital, it seems those prayers are being answered.

Sbahle has finally uttered her first words since the horror crash.

According to TshisaLIVE, the 25 year-old’s first words were “I want my daddy.”

"For me, she has come back to life,” her father Sbu Mpisane told the publication,  “I have said all this time she is a fighter and now she has spoken for the first time.

“Right now she is doing well and her speaking is a testament to that.

“I know that she will continue to fight,” he added.
