He is part of DJ Tira’s Amadada dance crew and his employers, Tira’s Afrotainment, have broken their silence on the issue.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Afrotainment said they “do not condone, promote nor support any abuse of another human being.”
The statement went on to explain how Chiliza “handed himself over to the police as soon once he was aware of a charge laid against him and made himself available for any testing the investigators required.
"As long as we have known him he has been an upstanding member of the community, who works hard towards the improvement of his neighbourhood and that of his community and has done outreach projects in his community."
Afrotainment concluded their statement by urging members of the public to allow the police and court procedures to find the truth.
Until then, they said they will support their employee.
