THESE elections are critical and will determine the future of this country.
The choice voters make on election day is pivotal.
Among the many parties contesting, the IFP, according to its premier candidate Thami Ntuli, stands out as a beacon of hope.
Ntuli said this during the party's election rally at Princess Park in Estcourt, northern KZN. He also said this was a do or die election for the party.
“We believe Inkatha will emerge victorious in these elections because it remains the only party that brings hope to the people of South Africa,” Ntuli said.
He highlighted the country's current challenges, noting: “Even a grade one pupil can see that the country is on its knees because the governing party has failed to serve the people with diligence. The high rate of crime and poverty are the major crises we're facing today.”
The IFP's election campaign continues under the theme: "Do it for Shenge".

IFP National Youth Brigade leader Mlungisi Mabaso emphasised that the party selects its leaders based on hard work and dedication, not titles.
“That's why we have leaders of such calibre within the ranks of the party,” Mabaso said.
Mduduzi Myeza, an IFP member of the Youth Brigade and mayor of Inkosi Langalibalele Municipality said the party was committed to being on the ground until election day.
He said IFP volunteers will ensure everyone understands the party’s manifesto.
“In everything we do, we're guided by the party manifesto delivered by president Velenkosini Hlabisa on 10 March. We're doing what the party has asked us to do. We're serving the people as we're servants of the people,” Myeza said.
The premier candidate also led the delegation to their next rally, held in the rural town of uMvoti, also in the northern part of the province.
