SCHOOL violence is giving the Gauteng Department of Education a headache.
Several pupils have been killed with others have been injured in the past. Now pupils come to school armed to the teeth.
This surfaced at a school in KwaThema. On Tuesday, 26 September, police visited Lefa-Ifa Secondary School in KwaThema, Ekurhuleni after complaints of gang violence and what they found shocked them.
Cops found dangerous weapons, but what was shocking was a panga abandoned in a classroom.
The owners of the dangerous objects decided not to come forward as they feared the repercussions.
The pupils were given a stern warning.
