A SUSPECTED drug dealer will soon face the music in the Germiston Magistrates Court after he was bust with illegal substances.
The man (45) was arrested on Friday, 18 August, by Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) and Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) officers.
He was found with more than R70 000 worth of illegal substances from crystal meth and several banknotes
EMPD spokeswoman Lieutenant-Colonel Kelebogile Thepa said the arrest came after they followed up on information about an individual selling drugs, which led the DEU officers to proceed to President Street in Germiston, where the suspect was found.

She said the man was in possession of nine medium ziplock bags of crystal meth, one large plastic of crystal meth, one large plastic of cat, two scales, 150 smoking glass pipes, all with an estimated value of R77 500 and found in possession of R960 in cash.
"The offender was immediately arrested and taken to Germiston Police Station, facing charges of possession and possible dealing in illegal substances," she said.
