DRUG addicts are always suspects when residents lose their belongings such as cellphones, shoes, clothes and taps.
So, there was no surprise when drug addicts were suspects when new carvela shoes were stolen in Zonkizizwe, Ekurhuleni, on 14 February.
One of the drug addicts, Sibusiso (27), said residents came to him and asked if he had not stolen the shoes but he told them he didn't.
