THE case against seven suspects accused of kidnapping and murdering former Golden Arrows star, Bhekisizwe Nkosi has been postponed for formal bail application.
The suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court on Thursday, 1 February. The court was packed to capacity and security was called to remove residents who came in numbers to support Bhekisizwe's family.
Security guards had to remove people from inside the courtroom and only family members, ANC Women’s League and Thatha Zonke Security members were left behind.
Bhekisizwe's family member said they're happy with the support they're getting from the community.

“Residents and members of an anti-crime unit, Thathazonke Security have been giving us moral support since the incident happened on 25 December 2023.
“We hope the law will take its course and we don’t want the suspects to get bail,” he said.
He said Bhekisizwe' mother has been affected emotionally.
“She did not come to court today because she is traumatised and is not well. Our brother was killed like a dog, and we want the suspects to rot in jail,” he said.
Bhekisizwe, who played for Arrows in the Premier Soccer League 2012/2013 season, allegedly went missing on 25 December 2023.
The 34-year-old was found dead on 29 December 2023 and was buried on Wednesday, 3 January.
The case was postponed to Friday, 8 March for bail application.
