Police said they’ll be able to link them through DNA. The results will be available by the end of this week.

Most of the suspects were arrested for various crimes, including illegal mining and being in the country illegally.

On Sunday, 31 July, the victims were locked in a meeting with Police Minister Bheki Cele and the team of detectives who are working on the case.

The victims are undergoing counselling organised by the police.

The police said they wanted them to focus on their psychological well-being before they could get their detailed statements on what really happened.
