DUMB THUGS BUST ROBBING OWN SHOP!

accreditation

THREE suspects were bust on Monday, 31 January, after being dumb enough to hold up their own workplace.

On Sunday, two armed people stormed Clothing Junction in Bela-Bela, Limpopo, at around 9am and robbed it of clothes and money from the till.

However, cops later discovered they had toy guns, the bakkie used to transport stolen goods belonged to the store manager and the two suspects worked at the shop!

Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo said an intelligence-driven operation was activated and cops acted swiftly to bust the suspects.

“A probe led to the recovery of the stolen items from the said vehicle and a pistol, that turned out to be an air gun. The manager and two female staff members were arrested and charged with theft and conspiracy to commit a crime,” he said.

Limpopo police commissioner Lieutenant-General Thembi Hadebe commended the cops who bust the suspects.

“We take this moment to warn other people who might be planning to stage robberies that the police are capable of uncovering similar plans and bringing the perpetrators to book,” she said.

The three suspects, aged between 29 and 32, were due to appear in the Bela-Bela Magistrates Court soon.
