DUDULA Operation members are expected to gather once again outside Joburg Central Police Station, where their leader Nhlanhla “Lux” Dlamini is being held for the weekend.
This is as he waits to apply for bail on Monday at Roodepoort Magistrates court.
Members of the operation have been gathering outside of the cop station since Thursday night, 24 March following Dlamini’s arrest.
On Saturday, 26 March, they sang and danced outside the station, while some of them could be seen burning EFF flags.
They also came in numbers to Roodepoort Magistrates Court on Friday, where Dlamini appeared for the first time.
He was nabbed on Thursday after leaving Kaya FM studios in Parktown North, where he had an interview. Last week a case of malicious damage to property was opened against him by Victor Ramerafe, whose house was ransacked by Dlamini and members of his operation.
Ramerafe, an EFF member, was accompanied by scores of members from his party to the police station, which led to a mild stand-off between them and Dudula members.
Meanwhile in Durban, KZN, authorities denied the operation had a permit for the march planned for this Sunday, 27 March.
Patriotic Alliance deputy president Kenny Kunene also made it to Joburg Police Station in support of Dlamini.
