POLICE in Postmasburg have nabbed a madala for alleged drug dealing.

Police spokeswoman Warrant Officer Nomvuyo Makoloi said, “On Friday morning, 26 August 2022 the police operationalised the information and raided the house of a 69-year-old male and found Mandrax tablets and drugs, as well as cash amounting to R7150-40, believed to be the proceeds of the sale of the drugs.

“The Postmasburg SAPS Acting Station Commander, Captain Gerrit Mouton commended members who followed up information regarding a house in Boichoko where drugs were allegedly being sold.

Makoloi said the 69-year-old male suspect was arrested and will appear in the Postmasburg Magistrate court on Monday, 29 August 2022.
