COUPLES should embrace their sexuality, have fun and explore.
These were the words of intimacy coach Moipone Mojanko from Andeon, Pretoria West.
She hosted a sex event at Luvland Adult Fun Store in Brooklyn, Tshwane, on Saturday, 29 October, where couples and singles were taught about ways to strengthen and spice up their relationship.
She urged couples to use sex toys such as vibrators and dildos.
Moipone said many people are not free to talk about sex.
“Many couples are uncomfortable when it comes to intimacy and that is why I decided to do this,” she said.
Moipone said it was her first public event but she will do it every month. “People need this. Marriages and relationships are breaking because intimacy is not spoken about,” she said.
“Couples should use vibrators and dildos. There are many other toys they can buy and use.
“What’s also important is to know your partner’s body so that you can pleasure them,” she said.
Helen Skiba, a relationship and marriage counsellor, was one of the speakers at the event.

She said: “Some of the complaints I usually get are women complaining about their husbands not stimulating them. Men also complain about women being lazy.
“In most cases, that’s what drives men to get sex outside. There is nothing wrong with their vagina, the only problem is not putting in effort.” Helen said couples should pray for their sex life.
Pauline Chirindi, owner and founder of MSP Beauty Salon, said self-love and self-confidence are very important. “You have to start loving yourself. That is what attracts our partners. When people enter into a marriage they forget to love themselves,” she said.
