POLICE have made a breakthrough in arresting six suspects, aged between 27 and 38, following a farm attack and house robbery.

The incident took place on a game farm along Tshipise road outside Thohoyandou, Limpopo, last December.

The suspects robbed the occupant of a Toyota Land Cruiser, firearms, laptop as well as cash in rands, US dollars and pounds.

They were arrested on Wednesday, 11 January, after police received information from community members leading them to four villages – Makushu, Musekwa, Tshituni and Greater Kuduland.

Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo said members of the trio task team in the Vhembe District conducted an intelligence-driven operation, leading to the arrest.

The suspects will appear before the Musina Magistrates Court soon, facing charges of house robbery, unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition as well as possession of suspected stolen property.
