BUSINESSMAN and convicted drug dealer, Glenn Agliotti has reportedly died at a hospital.
He was the man at the centre of the late former police commissioner Jackie Selebi’s corruption trial.
According to Gauteng police spokesman Mavela Masondo, an inquest docket has been opened at the Douglasdale Police Station in Sandton and a post mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
According to Nielsen Book Data, the media called him a drug trafficker and a drug dealer. And He'd admitted to these crimes and signed a plea bargain to grass on an associate. He was also known as the Landlord, which made him sound like a mafia boss.

The Nielsen Book Data stated that he was a facilitator between those in high places, the likes of Selebi, and businessmen on the make such as the late Brett Kebble. He was known as a fixer, the go-to guy who commanded fees of R100 million to organise connections.
This is the man who is believed to have done business in coffee shops and met associates in car parks and underground garages. Agliotti was believed to have bought shoes for the national commissioner of police.
Agliotti was found guilty of dealing in drugs in 2007 and received a suspended sentence. He was also the main suspect in the murder of mining magnate Kebble and was acquitted for it.
He also testified against Selebi in his corruption trial, admitting to bribing him.
