A CLEANSING ritual ceremony in Klip River near Olifantsvlei, south of Joburg, ended in tragedy when two people drowned.

The incident has brought worry to prophets who question if traditional healers follow the right steps before visiting these places where rituals are performed.   

As of Tuesday, 21 November, the search and rescue team entered its third day in an attempt to locate the bodies of the two people who were washed away during the ceremony.
