MOTSOALEDI informal settlement residents were left angry and frustrated after City Power cut off illegal connections in the area.

The power utility's operation, which took place on Wednesday, 24 May, was set to comply with a standard court order to conduct cut offs in Soweto every six months.

Frustrated resident Xolelwa Mpakana told Daily Sun that they were worried of being cut off because they have never experienced load shedding.
