A MAN who was known for doing break-ins in the Nyanga area in Cape Town was found dead on the streets in the early hours of Monday morning, 1 January.

People from the nearby homes said they heard a group of people beating the man, saying “we don’t want to see him in 2024” because he had been tormenting their kasi for a long time.

The man was found on Ntlangano Crescent not far from the Nyanga cop shop with injuries all over his body due to the beatings. Some residents said the man was known to many people for allegedly robbing and breaking into people’s homes.
