THE Radebe family has been tortured by evil spirits for years.
And when they consulted izangoma they were told a bottle containing baboon oil, which was planted in their yard, is making their lives hell.
So the family from Ratanda in Heidelberg consulted several traditional healers to help locate the bottle, but no one has found it.
Khosi (47) said they couldn’t sleep at night as a tokoloshe is moving around on top of the roof.
“We get sick, fight among ourselves and money just disappears from the house,” said Khosi.
The family members said they were also terrorised by bats.
“They fly into the house.
“We often see shadows of people during the day, but when we go out to see who the person could be, we see no one,” she said.
Khosi said not only are they suffering, they have also lost over seven family members, who have all died mysteriously.
“We don’t know when the suffering is going to stop. We appeal for prayers to chase away these evil spirits,” she said.
She said they spent over R40 000 on izangoma to try to chase away the evil spirits, and it was all in vain.
The family said it consulted over 10 izangoma.
“They all come claiming they will help us, but so far no one seems to be able to see where this bottle is,” said Khosi’s brother, Bheki.
Sangoma Khethiwe Ndlovu said baboon oil was used as a curse.
He said the family must find a sangoma who’s knowledgeable about baboon oil to help the family.
