THE thugs knocked on the taxi driver's window, pretending to be asking for skyf.

But the driver, who was sleeping in his taxi, told them he didn't have any cigarettes. They left but came back after a while, armed with bricks. 

The two amateur hijackers from Etwatwa, Ekurhuleni assaulted the driver with bricks in an attempt to push him out of the taxi. One of them took the wheel and started the Toyota Quantum taxi.
