Amadlozi kill my babies!

accreditation

A 43-YEAR-OLD woman believes her ancestors keep taking her unborn babies because she refused to thwasa.

The woman from Dobsonville, Soweto, said: “But I won’t live life to please the ancestors. I’ll keep seeking help until I find a solution, but I’m not going to thwasa.”

The woman is a born-again Christian and has one child who’s now 17. She’d like to have more.

She said she’s known since she was young that she has a spiritual gift but when she realised her ancestors were making her family suffer, she told herself she’s not going through that.

She said she was supposed to accept her calling in 2018 to thwasa because she was sick all the time and kept getting involved in car accidents.

She believe her mum and aunt died because of their calling.

Since 2018, the woman has had six miscarriages. A doctor told her everything seemed okay but maybe her age contributed to her miscarriages.

“I then went to four sangomas who all told me my ancestors were not happy with my decision.

“I don’t feel protected by my ancestors and there’s no reason for me to trust them.”

She’s asking SunReaders to help her. She stressed that she doesn’t want to lose her husband.

Her husband (40) said he told his wife they should probably stop trying but she refused.

“I don’t know how to help her.”

Doctor Israel Motona said many miscarriages occurred because the foetus wasn’t developing as expected.

“There’s nothing to do to prevent a miscarriage,” he said.

Gobela Joseph Dungamanzi said: “She must humble herself and ask ancestors for a solution.”
